Fast Typer is the original game in the series and the most straightforward. A word shows up, you type it, another one appears. The time allowed for each word shrinks as your score rises, and one word left unfinished ends the run. There are no distractions on screen, which makes it a clean measure of how fast and accurately you type.

It is a favourite for typing practice because it takes seconds to start and a full run rarely lasts more than a few minutes. Play three or four rounds and you will notice which letters slow you down.

How to Play Fast Typer

2. Type the word shown. Correct letters are marked as you type.
3. Finish the word to score and move to the next one.
4. Keep the streak going as long as you can.
