About Typing Fighter

Typing Fighter is a keyboard game dressed up as a street fight. A word appears on screen for each incoming attack, and you land your own punch by typing that word correctly before the opponent finishes their move. Miss a letter or hesitate too long and your fighter takes the hit instead. Every round is short, so the game rewards quick, clean typing over long stretches of endurance.

The difficulty comes from the words themselves. Early rounds stick to short, common words, while later fights throw in longer phrases and awkward letter combinations that trip up hunt-and-peck typists. Health bars for both fighters sit at the top of the screen, so you can always see how close a round is.

How to Play Typing Fighter

Press Play and wait for the first opponent to step in.
Read the word or phrase that appears under the fighters.
Type it exactly, including spaces and capital letters where shown.
Finish the word before the opponent's attack bar fills to land your hit.
Empty the opponent's health bar to move on to the next fight.

Controls

Keyboard: type the letters shown on screen.
Backspace: fix a wrong letter before the word is judged.
Mouse: only needed for the menus.

Tips and Tricks

Keep your eyes on the word, not on your hands. Looking down is where most of the lost time goes.
Short words are worth finishing perfectly rather than quickly. A typo costs more than a slow finish.
If a phrase has a space in it, treat the space as a letter. Forgetting it is the most common miss.
